Study on Real-time Linearity Measurment of Steel Pipe With Large Diameter

Abstract:A new on-line measuring system for the linearity of steel pipewith large diameter is inven-ted with the technology of visual inspection.The coordinates of the center of steel pipe section are measured by structured-lighting sensor.Through global calibration,the error of steel pipe linearity can be assessed.This method can fulfil 100%on-line and real-time measurement for large axial ob-ject.
